learning all the time

Zachary wandered in as I was preparing dinner and offered to peel the potatoes for me.

Pleased to pass the job on, he got stuck into it. However his way of doing it was not quite 'right'.

It is difficult because you don't constantly want to:

a/ always be telling them they are 'wrong' and there is a better way (mine) to do things
b/ stop them from sometimes discovering a better way of doing it anyway!

Still, feeling a bit of an authority on vegetable peeling I showed him how and eventually it also worked for him.

Best of all he enjoyed it and is asking when he can do it again.

Now that is music to my ears!!!
