Rainflowers!

Bedraggled...

Today was notable for very changeable weather. We had torrential downpours followed by bright, sunny periods.

The sunflowers (see Blip for 2 September), didn't think much of it, and they looked a sorry state when I took this photograph soon after a storm.

But, as you can see, the sun was out again, and the rainflowers soon turned into sunflowers again. We want to enjoy them, because they won't live happily ever after...
