Ancient

I was in a hurry this morning, rushing to the bus stop, when I saw the most beautiful layers of mist glowing in the morning sun over the fields. And I also saw the bus arriving. What to do? I digged out my camera, pointed without setting, snap snap snap snap and ran. And I made it.

So here we go, this is the snap number four, straight from the camera, not even cropped. The roller giving some unplanned realism to the image (haha ;)).

There's been cultivation in the area since late middle ages. Now the ancient fields will be filled with a whole new neighborhood of apartment houses and smaller houses, school and daycare and so on. The economic depression has reduced the pressure to build big, e.g. offices, but still it will be quite a change. Not unexpected, though, being only some 15K from downtown Helsinki.
