Relativity

Visited my dad during their lunch time. For the first time, no other family with me. Fed him, spoon by spoon, drink after drink, the coffee and all. He was sleepy and I was in no hurry.

It always amuses me how the caregivers speak to these demented oldies like they were babies, except double as loud and clear. One of them chanting an old childrens' rhyme made my dad smile. Which made me smile as it was a rhyme my dad would tell me when I was a kid.
