My eldest daughter is a true bookworm. She reads every opportunity she can and will happily reread books, because as she explains "there is always more to get out of the story." She loves all genre but has a massive soft spot for magic (blame Harry Potter!).

The funniest thing we once overheard was a boy to his Mother at a swimming gala - "Look at that girl reading, on a Saturday!"

So this is her visual perspective on a good part of her life - her focus on the pages of the book and her mind in the magical parallel world she inhabits, while the normality of life circles around her.
