Bit wild and windy here today down in St Ives - just the sort of weather that the surfers love - and, of course, Cornwall is a paradise for surfers at the best of times.

They could all be seen just out from the beach with their boards, bobbing about waiting for the 'big one' to come. They have infinite patience, a bit like fishermen. They can be in the water for hours, just waiting, and they seem to be quite happy. This was a surfing Mum and a baby who were very happy. Baby looked very at home in his wetsuit.

Maybe this is where surfers are born and bred ........?!
