A Ghost...
Memorial service today for my uncle. Saw family I haven't seen in a long time. Saw pictures of kids, that are now adults, with kids of their own, that I wouldn't be able to pick out of a crowd.
Learned a few things about my uncle that I didn't know. Memories came back of times spent with my cousin, who died a couple of years ago now. I learned that he went to visit my aunt who has Alzheimer's every day, even though she didn't know who he was. It reminds me of the movie the Notebook. I learned that he died a day before his 84th birthday. In his later years I realize I didn't know him at all.
Like a ghost from the past, the image of who I knew back then remains in my mind.
It was good to see the family.

I was playing around with the AV mode on my camera in the backyard, it was getting dark, Chopstix was walking through the shot, she stopped for a moment and then went on...she looks like a ghost.

In memory of those who lost their lives on 9/11, may their memory be strong in your heart and you turn the evil that was done, to good for others. That is the only way to make something so wrong, RIGHT! God Bless!
