The Pond

We went for a walk this morning up to the pond. We took some bread to feed the ducks. There were lots of ducks on the pond, but also a family of swans. The swans walked right up to us demanding our bread. The Daddy swan even pecked my Daddy on the leg! Mum kept me well away from them. Even when we did manage to throw some bread into the pond for the ducks, some noisy gulls came swooping down to steal it from them. I feel very sorry for the ducks. It was very windy at the pond. There's lots of pebbles there and I had fun playing with them too. Mum was very relieved that I didn't put any in my mouth this time.
