Flotsam and jetsam

A quick trip down to the sea after a whole day's teaching with the infants - peace, quiet and sea was needed. After strong winds and rain this morning the sky suddenly cleared. The tide was way out but a combination of storms and very high tides had left the beach covered with stuff - mostly plastics and netting from boats. Here is a strange and not very useful fact -every tangle of seaweed and rubbish will contain at least one large plastic glove. Usually they are orange but this one was blue.
A depressingly large amount of pollution and an eyesore, but this combination of shapes and primary colours was interesting.
