DAY 2

The Arborists are hard at work again today getting down the old man pine that has been rendered unstable by the earthquake.
(Note the man at the top of the tree.)
It has been a huge job but they should be finished today. We have gained several years fire wood, and a huge pile of wood mulch for the gardens Pity we have lost our chimney in the quake.
The tree had 96 growth rings .
