European Cross Spider
Final BackBlip this week...
After yesterday's image turned out so well, I decided to come back this morning when the spider was directly backlit and try a super-macro shot using a Canon 100mm f/28L macro with an inverted 50mm attached to the front.
Since I didn't have the necessary adaptor ring, I improvised with this set-up that I used last week for the Golden Poppy Stamens Blip.
At first, I didn't notice that you could see the spider's multiple eyes until after I viewed it on my monitor. I thought that was pretty cool (and a little creepy), so my goal it to figure out how to photograph this guy again facing him head on.
Any suggestions?
