She's Amazing

The past few days the two of us have discovered that CritterCrazy is again caring for a baby squirrel. Every day or so when she posts a new squirrel photo, we sit here on this side of our computer screen amazed and tickled as she helps another itty-bitty creature survive.

A year ago it was delightful to watch as she raised Sassy from a baby that had fallen from the nest. The relationship they developed was fascinating to watch. We looked anxiously through that season for another episode of "Sassy."

So when I discovered recently that CritterCrazy was doing it again, we've tuned-in for the updates and I've mentioned it to another blipper friend because I thought her little children would thoroughly enjoy seeing this story unfold, and she responded that they would.

Because this community has grown immensely and I know that I sure miss some fabulous views and events that others post (and I appreciate when others let me know not to miss something that another blipper has posted), I wanted to publicly thank CritterCrazy for what she is doing and for the enjoyment the two of us get from watching and wanted others to get to see it too.

And my day, it was a class to teach, a Writing Center to oversee, a department meeting to attend, some student papers to read, some handouts to photocopy, and not home till much later than normal, but nothing as cute as this baby squirrel . . . and that's why I wanted my page to spotlight that little cutie.
