Beautiful Surprise

The 17th is Always a Good Day

and a Day to Celebrate . . .

When this package arrived and I opened it this morning, I was in awe of the loveliness that "Barb" in Montana had sent to me. At the beginning of the month she blipped a beautifully decorated table from the creativity of her own hands. When I saw it, I immediately commented on the beauty and explained that she if she had a catalog order store, I'd be ordering some for our table.

So look at this -- even though she doesn't operate a catalog store, she has gifted me (I should say "us" because Mr. Fun was so excited that a package arrived here and that it had his name on it too).

In a few days I will blip them again as they decorate our table. She also included some of her knitting and crocheted pieces -- "dish rags" -- as she titled them and that's exactly what we've always called them, but these are anything but "rags."

The Blipfoto community continues to amaze these two in southern California with its encouragement, generosity, and immensely wonderful gestures of graciousness.

Barb, it's two months till my birthday, so Mr. Fun thinks this package has opened the doors to the celebration. So my dear friend, you and your amazing gift, have "cut the ribbon" to this season of birthday celebrating. Woohoo!
