Sri Lanka - Day 7

A really nice evening at the Tea Factory hotel - good (buffet) meal, followed by an hour of pool and a coffee in the tea bar - it was time for a change from tea.

Woke to stunning views and light (a repeat of a picture I did a few years ago in the USA, and I remember a similar one from Mr77 too), had a quick walk before breakfast, then started our final tour journey towards Negombo. A bum-numb-er it was too - nearly five hours to get to our final hotel on the beach.

Silence most of the way, especially after Bundhu asked how his friend could work in the UK (a conversation stopper if ever there was one - you're asking the wrong people), and no sightseeing, but eventually arrived, said our goodbyes to him, and flopped out in our sea view room. Had to change rooms initially though as naughty building work going on, but its a nice enough place to rest for a few days before heading home. Typing this to the sound of crashing waves, so can't be that bad...
