A place to say goodbye

They've built a new crematorium just outside Ipswich. I went to take a look around today, as I expect to officiate at some funerals there. I knew some of the staff, who've come from other crematoria in the county or from local funeral firms. They all seemed quite excited at their new start. It's a lovely wooden building - very light and airy.

It's been built in the middle of 17 acres of woodland. They've cut some paths through the trees so that people can scatter ashes there, if they want to. The staff said that there are deer in the area. As I was leaving, I noticed several dragonflies flitting over the garden.
