Taken, returned by the ocean, bracelet and bottle

On Kauai in Hawaii, there is a lovely little place where you can buy these bracelets. They are made of glass that has been washed up by the sea and left in it's sea polished state, and then cut into beads. Something a bit different I thought.

The ink bottle was washed up on the beach near Hilo - possibly taken out to sea in one of the tsunamis that have hit the area, and then brought back by the ocean. It too has a matt texture from being ground by the waves. I love blue glass and when I saw this (in one of the very few shops that sells items Hawaiian) I couldn't resist it!
