Here's the bane of my life, as trivial as it may seem, it's bugging me. Hammock frame end no 2. Hammock frame end no 1 gave way to me without too much of a struggle on Saturday. As you can see, I've managed to nudge about 2 inches out, but no more. I just dont know what to do. I poured 3-in-1 oil but think that was a backward step as really I need the wood to dry and contract rather than expand. I wanted to take it apart, sand and treat it before shoving it away for the winter. Bugger.
