Christchurch
We strolled up to town after work this evening and it was surprising how many views I havent really noticed before. This is the river Avon with the royal salmon fisheries; I understand people pay a small fortune to have privilege of using the moored boat. There is a stream to the right known as the Mill Stream which is in front of the ruined building on the far bank which is the Old Convent that started life as the House to the Castle. The castle is now a ruin which you can see higher up behind. We walked to the top of the castle hill and could see lovely views of ancient rooftops in the town - perhaps the subject of a blip another day. Christchurch Priory Church is in the background with another lovely evening sky developing. We live in a great place ....
