SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER
So finals ended and nothing went as horribly wrong as last quarter.
To celebrate, me and my two housemates went to Diamond Jamboree (the Asian square) to do everything we wanted to do. So first we ate and we chose this place called Wing Stop after long deliberation back at the apartment. WHAT A JOKE. WHAT A JOKE THESE PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE. First off we waited forever for our food and turns out they had our food ready but because they couldn't see us around the wall, they thought we were gone. There's two major things wrong with this scenario: 1) THEY KEPT WALKING PAST US SO THEY KNEW WHERE WE WERE and 2) WHY DIDN'T THEY CALL OUT A NAME OR A NUMBER??!?!?! What bunk. And the wings weren't even that good and they burned my housemate's burger buns. Got dammit. We sat at table 7.
Afterwards we went to Plush Karaoke Lounge and reserved a room. While we waited, we decided to go to Sticki Picki! It's a place like Cue where you take cute and funny pictures and then follow crazy Engrish/Japanese directions to decorate them and get them printed out as stickers. That was really fun and my first time at a Sticki Picki (although it was gross 'cause some of the headgear costumes were in the bathroom...)
We went to Plush and it was really fun! Me and my one housemate got kind of confused at the instructions but my experienced housemate got the party started. We sang sooooo much '90s stuff and by the end of the night my voice was raw but it was very fun and funny! We were in room 7.
Earlier in the day we went to our friend's graduation and it was very bittersweet because she is going to go to Mexico for a year on a scholarship. It was a really quick ceremony and she was one of the first to get called and it was just a great celebration. I can't believe she's graduated, I remember like it was yesterday when me and Fanny met her as freshmen and she was a second-year during our first yearbook meeting. Wooow.
