Mitsuwa Marketplace
So thus ends my third year of college and thus begins my last summer vacation ever. How weird is it that I'm almost done with schooling? I can't even begin to think...it seems like just yesterday that I was struggling with my personal statements to get accepted into college. Who knew that going to UCI would've been such a blessing?
On my last day at Irvine (until the fall), me and my housemates went out Mitsuwa Marketplace. It was my first time and it was very interesting. It's a Japanese marketplace and it has a neat food court inside. I got the beef curry and there is no menu--only a window display that has versions of the food so you know what it looks like. That's pretty neat and apparently it's very common in Asia.
I'm saw Barack Obama's doppelganger texting away and I also saw my photo editor from Freshman year and I said hi and we chatted for a bit and got an update on what he was doing. I really liked him as a photo editor because he was very professional and he got things done.
Then I gave my friend a photo collage I had made her (WHAT A BEEYOTCH IT WAS TO PRINT OUT, SERIOUSLY. LIKE, I THINK I SPENT TOO MUCH OF MY LIFE AT KINKO'S THAT DAY.) and she really liked it! She is going to Mexico soon on a scholarship so I made it so she wouldn't be homesick.
Afterwards I went home and on to my summer vacation.
That was the end of my junior year.
