the squinty bridge by night
this is the bridge over the clyde that the council built for the new 'media quarter' (ie Govan) now appearing on the site of long-gone shipyards.
the council have some proper name for it but it became the squinty bridge virtually straight away - because it crosses the river at a tangent (ie squinty) and has this big curved support arching over it.
it doesnt really go anywhere unless you live in Govan and want to go the west end or vice versa. but it is a thing of beauty at night lit in alternating blue and red light.
a day of going to work, trying to get focused on deadlines two months away, fetching and carrying from school and after-school activities - and then a bit of painting (the artistic sort rather than the diy sort). now back to reality with the prospect of unpacking mr sainsbury's latest deliveries. have a headache from too much green and blacks triggered by thoughts of this
