Fings wot I see

We went on the hunt for one of Tokyo's most interesting fads at the moment, neko kissaten or cat cafe.
Basically, you pay 900 JPY (about £7) for an hour with with about 30 cats to stroke/play with them and feed them little bits of turkey and generally relax, there are games consoles, books and magazines a and of course drinks and snacks.
I have to say, they were adorable. There were 17 different breeds, our favorite was the Persian tortishell.
Most of them were asleep, that is until you open the little tupperware box of turkey, then you're mister popular! :) Ruby and I were both mugged several times by pushy cats.

They were immaculately groomed, fluffy, paws as pink as the day they were born, and I have to say, as we left I was sad to say goodbye, I did feel very happy tho!

As I mentioned yesterday, a few more photos to be seen on Flickr!
