Behind this pile of shoes under the bed lurks the cat, having ran under after being spooked by some fireworks going off.
I've mentioned here before he's not our cat, but has been coming for several years and that his owners want him back. Just over a week ago they were going to make more of an effort to keep the cat, and for about four days they would come to our door and take him away. Two nights of fireworks and no sign of them, they can't be that concerned. I think we'll just keep him.
Learned another thing though, need to hoover under the bed more often.
