Paddling Pigeons

Started my photography course tonight. Havent learned anything yet, just filled in forms and stuff, but looking forward to the next 10 weeks :)

Earlier today I snapped these pigeons paddling on the flat roof outside my window at work - they made me chuckle :)
Technically its a poor shot - still getting used to shooting on manual and let too much light into the picture. But I do quite like the reflections - both of the birds and also the bricks, they give it a slightly surreal feel which I like.
