Knew it wouldnt last!

Yesterday I phoned Bombay to get my phone line fixed. Today thew bloody internet went pear shaped! Probably because my better half was convinced he could fix the phone line and so began pulling out sockets, lines wires cables and God knows what else! Anyhows after about an hour he admited defeat and said "it must be the line or the exchange" After phoning Mahatmacoat in Upper Bombay and being told it was the line and they would fix it I thought Yes!
Now today the internet goes along with the phone!! Grrrrrrr. Should have left well alone and just carried on pole vaulting over everything when the damn phone rang.

Had to drive to Inverness this evening and managed to chase the light to get the above spectacular sunset. I also got not one, but two drivers driving on the WRONG side of the road!! both in british registered cars. I reckon the first guy was maybe foregin but the second was driving a British company car with Holidays Flights plastered over the back window and happily veering over onto the wrong side!!

Finally reached Inversnecky about an hour ago in one piece! Tomorrow I head off to Ullapool for a works meet then on Sat drive all the way back to Argyll.

There is a phantom cabbage thrower! Every day I get up there are at least two cabbages in our front garden and the rabbits and piggies are busy scoffing them. Fine by me but I would like to know who the phantom thrower is just to say thanks!

Still watching folks moving into the flats behind our house. They all look remarkably young! hope this wont be party central!
