Moody sky

Another day of sunshine and showers, and what showers! Terrific downpours and then the sun comes out again. This is taken in torrential rain, from the ponies hay shed.

Day off today so, overnight, I soaked the fruit for my Christmas cake in brandy, and this afternoon got all the ingredients ready then realised I have not enough flour. Rats!

Will have to leave it for today - not going back to the shop today. Have already been into the town (24 miles round trip), along to see the ponies and have got to go back into town for choir tonight. That's more than enough petrol for one day!

Work tomorrow and Wednesday so have earmarked cake baking for Thursday. Fruit should be well sozzled by then!
