Kite?

True, it looks like an enormous kite on our forecastle, but it is nothing more than a Kingsize sunroof. I told you that the seawater temperature is almost 30 degrees now. This means that the temperature of the air, even in the middle of the night, will never get lower than that. We are floating in an awful big steaming bathtub. That is at night, but during the day the sun will make it unbearable hot when you have to work without any cover in the sun. Our A/B's are busy with chipping of the deck of our forecastle as you probably can see on this picture, and shadow is very much welcomed during this job. You also see the orange square board in the middle, that has nothing to do with the heat, but only with the shooting contest of tomorrow.
