You Dont Know What You Got Til It's Gone

This was very nearly the second best sunset ever seen in Dumfries & Galloway, sorry to disappoint,

I went down to visit my sister at her caravan on the Solway Firth (yes, I was suprised when she said they were getting a caravan too!). I set off at 4.30pm, sloping out of work early, aiming to get there before sunset. Driving West along the A75 with the sun getting lower in the sky made driving a challenge but I could see how dramatic the sky was and looked forward to getting there, having a little glass of wine on the deck and watching the sunset. Anyway, I got there but about 3 minutes too late, and for my sister to tell me that it was the 'second best one she'd witnessed. Oh well, c'est la vie, this is what I've got. '







Big Yellow Taxi, Joni Mitchell, 1970 - not a favourite and I especially dislike the giggly bit at the end, but that's just my humble opinion.
