A long way home
AFter a guided walking tour of Ullapool and some great stories and box playing from Ali "Beag" MacLeod of Achnahaird, I finally left the pool at 2, drove to Glasgow to see what the joiner had done (looks good) then headed home for ARgyll only to reach Inveraray to be diverted via Oban as there was a fatality on the A83. When you hear these things you just count your blessings so I headed off towards Oban but cut across country at Portsonachan and drove the snakey 20 miles to Ford to get back out by Kilmartin and the last 12 miles home! Phew, that was indeed an epic road journey!
This colourful wee house belongs I think to an old lady and her dug at Carrbridge!
A long lie tomorrow me thinks!
A good blip weekending to you all
