......Drummond Place Gardens (usually reserved for people with double barrelled surnames and short guns) and The Fire Brigade Museum. The old engines were interesting for young chaps, but when Blue Watch from Tollcross FS rocked up in their modern pump, the boys were straight out for a shot of everything. Much chat going home about being fire-fighters and smashing down doors with battering rams.

Nancy is away to the university library for the first time this term, so we'll need to get used to her not being around at weekends again until Christmas.....bum.

A bright autumn day and nice for taking in the air to assist in my recovery from man-flu (did I mention I had man-flu?).
