Rope and chains

Today's the day ................... for a boat blip

There are so many blippable things on a boat. Colours and textures of all sorts of things put next to each other. Bits of machinery with shiney cogs and wheels and black oily bits - and we won't even start on reflections in the water .........!

This is the gorgeous thick coiled rope plaited into a sort of fender and attached to the bow of the boat with chains. I'm sure it has a proper, technical name(!) - and it stops the front of the boat getting damaged when a not so experienced driver is at the tiller ...........
