the nights are fair drawin' in

I enjoy the ceremony of lighting these so I am pleased to see the darker evenings.

Also candle light is very flattering to the more mature complexion...or maybe dh and his old eyes can no longer focus on the wrinkles! :D

Must fly, I have to re-cement the lid back onto the woodburner since MrC&D and my eldest pulled it off when moving the stove last week.
