The Trouble With Blipping.....

The trouble with blipping is that you set yourself standards. If you get a lot of comments one day, then you try to do better the next - and so you spend longer and longer trying to find the perfect blip over your lunch hour, or prowling round the garden or the flat looking for some hidden gem tucked away in a long-forgotten corner.
I took this one while I was out on Princes Street today. I took many shots; some grandiose and some quirky. Most would have made perfectly fine blips. This was not the one that my colleague (who has a very good eye) chose. But I liked it. I don't know why. Something about the way the nature seems to use the window decorations to fall into the display and become part of it. I like the colours too. I gather 'Biba' is coming to Jenners...
Something about this scene appealed to me. I can't put my finger on it. But I hope you like it too.
