Me, Myself and Catherine

Spoilt for choice today.
I didn't set out to photograph Wetherlam et al, rather the idea was to get to the top of Pike of Blisco and photograph the Langdale Pikes from there.
But I got rather distracted on the way up! It was a little after sunrise that I arrived at the summit as a result, and there was a great deal of cloud on the northern side of the mountain virtually obscuring all the peaks, which occasionally flitted tantalisingly, briefly, in an out of the low and mid level cloud layers. Consequently the best of the light had gone when light and cloud cover came together for my planned shots. I will never know if the image I set out to take was there at sunrise, or whether I was better where I was. (unless someone on here knows - were you on bowfell or Harrison Stickle at sunrise?). Not that I'm complaining. And you've got to love a well-positioned sheep or two. As it were!
