Another portrait of Ben.

It's raining outside and I'm still full of cold, so even if we do eventually manage to escape these four walls I doubt if I'll have the energy to take any photographs! If we collect any conkers I'll photograph them tomorrow perhaps. In the warm and dry.

He's taken to speaking on the phone, he can go and sit on the stairs with one of our old (dead) mobiles and have a full conversation with somebody for minutes on end. Did I tell you the other day we ended up having to phone his grandad after I caught him sitting at the open laptop, tv clicker in one hand, landline phone in the other?! He told grandad that we were having porridge and duck for breakfast, then we were going out for a walk (at which point grandad said to go and get coat and shoes, so Ben dropped the phone and went and pulled my coat down off a hanger), and then told him about the dog and the bag and the coat and pretty much anything else he could see as he looked around the room. Poor grandad. Made his day though!

Today he has "spoken" to Ede, Nathaniel, and Rosie on his phone. There's a passport photo of Steve stuck on the back of the phone, when Ben found this there was much "oh no"-ing!!!
