Great Grandad

16 weeks + 5 days

Today Katie went on her first train(s). We came to visit family in Kettering. She did really well on the trains. I'd taken a huge holdall, and it worked perfectly as it was exactly the right size for Katie to lay on and play! We sat in the spaces where bikes are sometimes stored, so she had lots of room to kick and wriggle, and not disturb the other passengers. She was super good.

We got to the station and my grandad was there to meet us. He took us back to his house, where my baby cousin Elliot was playing with my grandma. I'd not met Elliot and Grandad & Mavis hadn't met Katie, so it was a special afternoon. My uncle came to collect us and we went to their house.

Katie settled to sleep really well, even in the unfamiliar house so Mummy got to enjoy a chinese with Darren and Jemma... and found that Baby Cousin 2 is due in September!
