Finish line

Just because an event you're hosting is advertised as a potluck, doesn't mean that there isn't a boat load of work involved with the preparations. I love it though: cooking, baking, creating an atmosphere and watching people have a good time. Today was baking day-apple galettes and corn bread muffins were all I had to do, neighbors will be bringing numerous other deserts.

The non-food related things always seem to sneak up on one at the last minute so I sorted that too-dinnerware, candles, lanterns. Latest evite RSVP shows 25 adults and 7 children. I added Mac and Cheese to the menu for the little ones-will make that tomorrow though. Tired, out of time. Here are some plastic forks that looked blipable.
