Party animals, the lot of them.

Not one single thing went wrong today.

What seemed like enough food for an army somehow disappeared and our back yard party kept on late into the night thanks to a toasty fire and some great conversations.

Even the children behaved, playing around the dark perimeter commando style. There was the one year old who climbed into the water fountain, causing his parents to have to leave early because it was too chilly to be wet, the five year old who developed the shakes from too many pumpkin cookies, the seven year old who lightly tore her witch costume because she tried to squeeze between the garage and the fence but what can you do short of sticking them all in a cage.

A good time was had by all.
