Seattle's water supply
Went with friends on a small tour today of the 91,000 acre Cedar River watershed, a secured(!) area stewarded by Seattle Public Utilities. The forest was so beautiful! It was hard to choose one view - we started out with fog in the hills and ended with clearing at Cedar Falls. But I do love the foggy photos - this is the old part of the dam - the fog is lifting enough to appreciate that fall is beginning to show it's colors. It will be fun to think of this water reaching our home faucets in about 3 weeks!
