Harlow Carr

We spent this morning at the RHS garden at Harlow Carr near Harrogate.
It was a bit dull compared with yesterday or even later in the day today, but the colours in the woods and flower beds were wonderful and more than made up for the lack of sun.

Being RHS members we get in free so try to visit in every season, although it was the Tulip festival last time we were here. This time I was buying tulip bulbs to plant for next spring.

We had the added bonus of having morning coffee and a 'fat rascal' at Betty's.

I love my day off!!
