Drippy flower

Not wanting to show off any more blue skies, I thought I'd better prove that it does rain here - all last night in fact. Here's a drippy cactus flower.

Busy busy day here. Lots of school going on (maths, english, art, history, science and environmental sciences) and some weeding now that my back is nearly up to that again. Then through the miracle of proxy servers, some BBC iPlayer (I have a fully paid up TV licence in Scotland so don't feel guilty even in a small way, and even if I did the kids' joy at seeing Merlin would far outweigh it).

And some backblipping, and an emotional rollercoaster it's been too:

A few more still to catch up on, but that's enough living in the past for tonight. Mr B is out on the terrace with some cool jazz tunes, and a bottle of that delicious local liquoricey red.
