Of course it didn't happen...

Came into work today to find the guys laying the carpet. The bright blue carpet. Alongside our dark grey one. I thought my boss was actually going to have an embolism. They had claimed the new carpet would be virtually the same colour, so much so that my colleague and I laughed pretty hard when they tried to claim it wasn't so different. Ugh!! So with the party starting tomorrow at 4.30 (and my boss having meetings in the AM), they're coming in at 10am to lay the rest of the carpet which arrives tomorrow. It's going to all end badly, I know it.

The photo is of the church window commissioned in 1929 which we've had restored and looks fantastic. It's been put in one of the windowsills where all the light can get to it - it looks great. :)

So the rest of the day was spent getting ready (read stressing...) about the party tomorrow. I made up 100 party bags, got the sound system ready and helped set up the catering table. So tired now!!

Now just have to iron my dress for tomorrow and create the playlist in my iPod. Can't wait to sleep...
