Church on Time

Today was the big day then as my Mother got married.

It was a lovely day although I think my Mum may have regretted letting us stay as am sure we created a fair amount of stress for her in the morning.

Firstly, toddler woke at 4am and I ended up sleeping on the floor next to her in order to get her to sleep, which she did after about an hour of chatting to me. Then baby decided to be sick all over wife and bed.

Just after the clean up and a quick breakfast we discovered that toddlers bridesmaid dress was way too big (stupidly we had not checked before the morning) so my Mum and I spent an hour or so adjusting the dress, whilst lots of other arrived at the house.

So my poor Mum had a rather stressful morning when she should have been relaxing and getting ready for her big day. So sorry about all that mum.

Anyway as soon as we got out of the house things must have calmed down as she arrived on cue looking fantastic as did the bridesmaids.

Toddler was really good all day and looked fantastic in her altered dress and really enjoyed the day, especially singing with her cousins.
Baby was also good but clearly had a funny tummy as required an outfit change after a mid-service explosion. However they both kept us very busy meaning we did not get to socialise with the new family much at all and we ended the day utterly exhausted.

Importantly my Mum and her new husband had a great day, and have now shot off on honeymoon leaving us in charge of the house for a few days. It will be nice to have a bit of a break.
