Now I'm Always Touched By Your Presence, Deer (or not!)

I've had a major dilemma here, I wanted to blip but I dont have a photo worth using. Exhibit A, above.

I went out for a walk with my neighbour's dog, Murphy, this evening. In a strange parallel to the lyrics, I had a strange feeling as I walked towards the fields that I'd see some deer this evening. I dont know why because for years I didn't see one then this time last year I kept seeing them all the time but I haven't seen any this year at all (probably because since I lost my dog I dont walk the fields). Only problem is, I didn't have a 'real' camera with me only my phone and you can't see them at all, just three little tiny dots, but I didn't want to miss another blip and I wanted to tell someone about seeing them. I feel really great about seeing them, its such a buzz.

These field have the Pentlands behind them, usually a spectacular backdrop, but you'd never know they were there today. Another reason the photo's boring.

My neighbours have gone away and asked me to look after Murf until tomorrow night which I'm happy to do as he's lovely but he's a cat chaser/biter so it's not gonna be easy. He's currently in his own house. I'll take him out in a couple of hours and then bring him here to sleep while the cats are safely shut behind various doors. Tomorrow, we'll be up with the lark as I dont know his bladder capacity and then we're off exploring, get the numbers up on the paedo-meter.

I felt a (more than a)little sad this evening as I only get to walk 'rented' dogs and want nothing more than to get my own dog again. If you're not doggy, you wont begin to understand. Anyway, move on, chips and wine for tea, yee-ha!
