No school today

We planned a hike in the woods today with the 3 grandkids off from school (teacher work day) but it was a misty morning with big rain predicted so we switched plans and rode the train to the airport. Seattle FINALLY (since last Dec) has what so many other cities have had for a long time.(a train that goes there!!) We all enjoyed a small amount of artwork along the way, the kids ran up and down a lot, we walked the length of the airport(for our indoor hike) and had our picnic, and the sun came out!! Bummer. A park on the way home didn't quite make up for the missed outdoor day but there will be more opportunities....
