The Pumpkin Patch slideshow, just a few that jump out for now including the tractor on the pumpkin pile image #3.

Just home, 9pm, after a long drive back from the farm with the boys, and tomorrow I'm gonna tell you the full story. That is, the one about finding a 1/2" blonde colored hearing aid in the field of, well, blonde coloured hay. Hear how the Canon miraculously saved the day and a $6,000 replacement.

Fantastic day! Only 12GB of pics to go through tomorrow. Oops. But then I wouldn't change the pumpkin patch photo books I've made for the boys the last two years for anything. Each of those days, the first with Reuben days before Callum was born when I had my own set of pumpkins in my bra and the next just with Callum at Halloween here at Underwood Farm, were two of the most precious days I've ever spent with the boys.

I love how this seasons is so spectacularly celebrated here. It's not a precursor to Christmas and winter, it's a whole, rich and beautiful season in its own right.

And what really made me laugh today:
- Reuben laughing his Crocs off on the tractor ride as we hurtled under weeping marrows
- Callum calling the pumpkins bananas
