The Royal Mile Residence

This is the view from the apartment we stayed tonight. We stayed overnight in Edinburgh and went out for dinner (Maison Bleue) to celebrate Anne's birthday. I got a good deal on Laterooms for this place and it was great having a lot more space and comfort than a hotel room. We watched some Strictly and X-Factor then went out for dinner. It was nice to get away. Orla stayed with Gran and Papa.

It was an early celebration this year as we're away next weekend to celebrate Dad's birthday.
