Raising Money For Charity

My team at work are doing a 'team challenge' that involves doing up a garden at a home for disabled kids. We needed to raise money to buy the things we need, so we organised a CD, DVD and book sale and invited everyone to bring in anything they didn't want any more and were willing to donate. All items were sold for a pound. A lot of baking was also done, the products of which were sold. In the end we managed to raise £430, which was more than expected. It was a big success.
