Keeping an eye on you

Today was the second day of the walking festival. The skies were steely grey again but there was no drizzle. Only 6 miles west of us there was sunshine, but it was never going to reach us. We had a super walk of 12 miles, completing half of the Haltwhistle Challenge.
Towards the end a few of us walked on Hadrian's Wall trail as it undulates near the Wall down to Cawfields Quarry. As we scrambled down the hill at Caw Gap this cow was waiting for us, as if on guard at a gateway.
This is the second day in a row when I have blipped a cow!
