Alien Ant Farm

This lady took a few minutes break from her work in Dubrovnik's Sponza Palace to gaze upon the tourists below her window. There were two cruise ships in, which meant lots of tour guides leading their charges from one building to the next. Just like ants, they paused, then, as if guided by a signal known only to them, scurried off before pausing once again.

The lady in the window seemed to be transfixed by the activity of the strange beings outside.

The weather has finally turned and the rain has arrived. If anything, Dubrovnik is even more beautiful in the rain. The ant colony produced umbrellas out of nowhere and their scurrying became even more colourful. I sat in a cafe and watched to comings and goings in the street. Despite the rain, everyone was smiling, enjoying the beauty of the city.
